What else can an amateur photograph colorfully? Naturally flowers, whatever comes before his eyes. Colors appear here in the most saturated form and urge you to press the shutter, as soon as the photographer approaches. Flowers are the stepson in black and white photography, because juicy and glowing colors, their main decoration, should be clearly highlighted and reproduced. That's why flowers can be a favorite child of color photography.

How should we approach the issue if we want to photograph flowers? Need to work on it a bit, add good will, techniques, as well as aesthetics. A beginner will always try to photograph the beauty of multicolored flower beds. The colorful sets prepared by gardeners delight the eyes in the first place and force them to be fixed in a picture.. Unfortunately, we will very rarely be satisfied with this, because on a small format photo or on certain sections we will not get such impressions. Flashes of light and the form of the flowers themselves, to, which is so eye-catching, will unfortunately be completely lost in the photo. Only the form of a flower bed and a path will remain on it, which have an indifferent effect on the viewer. It is better to take pictures of small sets or groups of plants; they can be a full-fledged photo for a flower lover. Pictures, where we find some general memories, they must have something special, what is presented in a certain form, has the right light, and, above all, the guiding lines in the image. In this sense, the sun, among other things, works in a low position or at rest, soft light from the direction of the subject, because in these cases we get long shadows or flashes of light between the leaves, that give a proper introduction or specifically highlight the values ​​of an image. However, it happens anyway, that with certain floral motifs in the open air it is very difficult or even impossible to take a photo. Sometimes we want to approach the photographed object with our camera so close, that as a result we have to use a very strong aperture, because blurring in a color image is very unfavorable. On the other hand, it is hindered by more or less strong wind and air movements, so we can't always use the intended exposure time. It is the longest exposure time 1/25 sek. That's all we can risk. However, any amateur taking photos outdoors will have to overcome similar difficulties. A certain part of our job is to find the right position and lighting, at which, despite the adversities of nature, we will receive all this, we assumed something. However, if all our efforts in the garden are in vain, we cut the flowers as needed and bring them back to the room.
