Pictures of animals

Pictures of animals.

We just want to mention about animal photography. We should only deal with the basics, related parameters of color photography, otherwise we would have gone astray. We can say, that compared to ordinary black and white materials in color photography there are basically no differences. The most common colors of the animal world are reproduced perfectly, both the vivid colors of tropical animals, as well as our birds, so that hardly any comments need to be added. Studying the expression of both the great can give a lot of joy in a zoo, as well as small animals, in cages and ,,on freedom". Who is a true animal friend, will be very pleased with both of these photos, as well as of these, where pets will be immortalized. One should not have false ambitions to take pictures in the field, during which birds will fly away from their nests in fear, where the eggs hatch. Such conduct is not usually the observation of animal life, and just searching for striking rare photos, which have an unpleasant sound. Unfortunately, we still encounter such authors in magazines, who have some, according to their opinion, achievements in this regard. The opposite of this is the German magazine "Die Fotografie" showing beautiful pictures of roe deer in the wild. There were discussions about these photos and ambiguous questions were asked, are they real photos, because it was about tamed animals. From the point of view of a misunderstood hunting romance, some people would mean images of animals back then, when they are scared. A great deal of damage is always done under the often used guise of "science documentary photography".. We want to intrude into this field of great "experts" and bring them to their attention.

Kretschmann, which in "Die Fotografie" in 1958 r. took a stand on the subject and came to the same conclusions, writes, among other things: “It is even more questionable to photograph birds during the breeding season. Lots of small and large birds, especially water birds, while being very excited, leaves nests and lairs, and with them eggs or even young ones. This way even just one photographer, which will visit bird communities many times, to take a picture, it can very easily destroy the offspring of the whole year. It will force older birds to leave their nests, and often crows roaming around will seize the opportunity, to break the eggs left unattended. The result is the destruction of nature, with which the photographer encounters the same as any other person".

Every publisher knows this, that most often photographing large birds, like for example. eagles, crane's, tawny owls, black storks, crows and others, is allowed only after obtaining permission from the Society for the Protection of Animals.

It shouldn't lead to this, so that everyone can talk later, that photographers are to a large extent to blame for the extinction of rare animals of our fields and meadows. After all, a true friend of animals will not destroy any bird's nest either because of his excessive curiosity, nor will he disturb them out of friendship.
